Roads2HyCom publishes the first volume of ?Hydrogen and Fuel Cells ? A Handbook for Communities?
The Handbook for Communites is aimed at community stakeholders who are interested in becoming involved with hydrogen and fuel cell (H2&FC) technology. The first volume, just published, is intended as an introduction for someone who has little knowledge about H2&FC. It discusses the potential role which H2&FC could play in world energy systems, the anticipated route to such a future, and the role of communities along that route.
The later two volumes go into more detail, instructing communities on how to successfully engage with H2&FC technology: conducting detailed feasibility studies, running initial projects and developing long term strategic plans. These volumes will be published over the coming months.
Volume A has drawn on research conclusions from within Roads2HyCom and has benefited from the direct participation of several partners. It was edited by Element Energy.
